AppCrew Studio ("we", "us", or "our") operates the Zingy alarm application. This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of personal data when you use our app.
Information We Collect
We collect minimal information necessary to provide the service:
- Account data: If you sign in with Google, we receive your email address and name.
- Usage data: Alarm settings, mission completion times, and streak data stored locally on your device and optionally synced to Firebase.
- Purchase data: Handled by RevenueCat and the App Store/Play Store. We do not store payment card information.
- Crash reports: Anonymous crash data to improve app stability.
Camera & Microphone
Zingy requests camera access for the photo and QR code missions. Microphone access is requested for the voice mission (v1.1). These permissions are only active during mission execution and we do not store photos or audio recordings on our servers.
Motion & Fitness
Zingy requests motion/fitness access for the shake and step missions. This data is used only to count shakes and steps during alarm missions and is never transmitted to our servers.
How We Use Your Data
- To provide and maintain the alarm service
- To sync your alarms and streak across devices (if signed in)
- To process in-app purchases
- To improve the app through anonymous analytics
Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with:
- Firebase (Google): Authentication and data sync
- RevenueCat: Purchase management
- Google Gemini API: AI mission generation (only difficulty parameters are sent, no personal data)
Data Retention
Your data is retained as long as your account is active. You can request deletion of your account and all associated data by contacting us at privacy@zingyalarm.com.
Children's Privacy
Zingy is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
